I’m looking for folks who identify as Cajun to come on down!
Do you or someone you know have a story to share? I would like to collect stories from anyone and everyone who might identify as Cajun. I’m looking specifically for stories, fiction or nonfiction, that display or touch on what you may relate as being a part of Cajun culture. This could be a childhood memory, a favorite tradition in your family, a struggle you have faced in the eyes of cultural assimilation, a biography, a memory of a family member…or perhaps a simple expression of what makes you interested in keeping Cajun culture alive. The story or piece of writing that you share is up to you! I’m hoping to collect a diverse pool of writings that display the differences of what each of us identify as being Cajun…anything goes.
